Fall Romance

I love the fall colors and the crisp air. It's one of my favorite times of year to shoot. Montana fall season's have a tendency to be very short but this year we lucked out with a nice long season. This is Ryan and Monica, and this isn't an engagement shoot, at least not yet! ;)

Lightning

This is one of my all time favorite pictures. It was a film image that I got at about 2am. I have always loved lightning, something about it makes me feel small, yet incredible.

Before the people

This is from my archives, before I actually had people to take pictures of I used to practice on flowers, this is a film image from my N80, so excuse the slightly blurr from the scan. This was taken in the Rocky Mountains, somewhere outside Denver.

New Years in Cooke City

Well its officially 2008, my resolution you ask.....well to post more, to learn how to ride a snowmobile, and to live everyday like I mean it. I bought myself a D300 for Christmas and I love it. I just need to learn how to use it. This was a very short road trip to Cooke City just overnight for New Years and please pardon the slightly blurry ones, I was trying to play with new functions. I have to say thanks to Bill and Kay at the Antlers Lodge in Cooke City. If you want to find lots of snow and great people, stop in and see the lodge it's great! You can visit them on the web at http://www.cookecityantlerslodge.com/

Jenna

This is a busy girl, she is class president and very talented softball and volleyball player just to name a few. She was my first shoot this year and her I hope her picture captures her beauty. I must say "Good Luck" to her and the Laurel Girls Volleyball team as they are headed to Bozeman to state!

Ben

This is Ben, he was one of my seniors this year. He was really easy-going with an awesome bass guitar. I really liked his expression in this one.

Natalee & Doug

Wildflower Weddings
You couldn't find a place to get married that was more Montana than this. It's breathtaking view of the Mountains just before Red Lodge are spectacular. With the sound of a waterfall near by and bridal sweet that is lakeside makes this an enchanted wedding location. If you would like to see more pictures of this site you can check out their website www.wildflowerweddings.net

Lucas & Megan

Welcome to Wyoming
There isn't much to do or see in this small town. It was a beautiful day for a wedding though. To be in the presence of these two, made me realize that the words "with God all things are possible" really have so much depth. The incredible faith of this young couple was awesome. You could truly tell they had saved themselves, when Lucas went under Megans dress to retrieve the garter, she jumped as he ran his hand up her leg. She didn't mean to but managed to give him a pretty good bloody nose for his troubles. Ooops. I am sure he forgave her and it did quit bleeding before to long =)

Benette & Eric

Aug 5, 2007
This was a backyard Wedding. What an amazing surprise, I didn't think you could have this kind of event in a backyard. It was not only spectacular... But incredibly beautiful. Benette is one of the most beautiful women I have met in real life. Her easy going personality and kind hearted smile made me feel as if we'd been friends for years. As you can see there was a lot of love in the air that night,
I only hope I find a man like Eric who adores me like he does Benette.

Mike & Kelly

This summer just flew by, I barely had time to breath in between weddings and seniors. I finally am getting caught up and unpacked in my new digs so here is some of the images from my summer weddings. Mike and Kelly got married at the Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch. Its a lesser used spot but a gorgeous place. We also stopped at a barn on the side of the road on the way to the reception.
